The only remaining part is a small, late 19C, three storey building on the other side of the main road, with an adjoining row of older cottages. The original mill, a cotton manufacturing concern, was built pre 1850, but was probably not water-powered. PRESENT USE AND POTENTIAL: The remaining part of the mill is used by a textiles firm, and is suited for a light industrial use. Photo taken c1985. The mill was built on the narrow strip of land between the road and the river.","Harry Pogson","Pennine Horizons Digital Archive","Pennine Horizons Digital Archive","No date yet","Pennine Heritage","PHDA - Harry Pogson Collection","Pennine Horizons Digital Archive","TIFF file 8-bit","English (U.K.)","Documentary photograph",HPC00201.tif,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"Buildings,Hawksclough Mill,Mill,Mills,Mytholmroyd",https://penninehorizons.org/files/original/1e0cba6c24d63471beed60fd906b95ef.jpg,"Still Image","Harry Pogson collection",1,0
