Title

No 1 Aspinall Street, Mytholmroyd - DBC00101

Description

The house where the former Poet Laureate, Edward James " Ted" Hughes, (17 August 1930 - 28 October 1998) was born. Ted was only 7 years old when he moved with his family to Mexborough in South Yorkshire, but it is widely believed that his early years in the Calder Valley had a profound effect on his later writings.
