Title
Hazlewood Castle, South West - HLS05892
Description
Slide 5 - Hazlewood Castle is not a show place, it is perhaps too antique to be placed in rivalry with modern palaces in point of splendour, but to the sober tastes it need not fear in point of grandeur and dignity. The front of the mansion consists of a centre and two wings with an embattled parapet.
The entrance is approached by a broad flight of stone steps. The view for Hazlewood is very extensive, and both York and Lincoln Cathedrals can (it is said) be seen from it.
