Title

Postcard of Hardcastle Crags - WMH00139

Description

Postcard date stamped June 1906. Looking down the valley in the direction of Hebden Bridge. The entrance to Hardcastle Crags was a short distance to the left. The large lettering on the building on the right would have been visible from the entrance and it appears to advertise Lello's Tearooms in New Bridge Mill just off the photo to the left. The track climbing up was originally part of the packhorse route between Heptonstall and Haworth.
