Title
Cally Hall Farm - RAC1960.090
Description
Edna Baxendale is haymaking.
When ready the hay would have been forked on to a hay cart which a horse would have taken to the barn. The hay would then have been forked in loose on to the muff or hay loft.
Edna’s husband Roy Baxendale was the last milkman in Todmorden to deliver with a horse and cart, using Taffy a Welsh cob.
