Description
Comment from Charles turner: My ancestor William turner farmed Higher Baitings Farm from 1824 until retiring to Kendal in the 1860s, leaving his son Edmund turner to carry on the farm. It was demolished by the Water Board when the reservoirs were built. Work started on the Walshaw Dean reservoirs in 1900.
