They say you can't believe everything you read in the papers, the same applies to postcards! A similar view is captioned Colden Valley, but even that is not right, this is looking up the Crimsworth Valley, with Hollin Hall Farm right of centre.

Stiuated in the Crimsworth Valley it ceased operating in 1990.

Hollin Hall is on the track to Crimsworth Dean, the track shown here going to the right leads to Shackleton Hill.

The Hollin Hall Pumping Station is on the left of the picture, and the centre is Hollin Hall Frame now the offices of the National Trust in Hardcastle Crags.
