Gladys Sunderland - ALC03845
Description
Gladys lived most of her life in Garden Square, Hebden Bridge. She went to school in Hebden Bridge. She spent all her working life from 1921 at J.B.Hoyle & Co. where she began work as a sewer, making heavy duty garments for industrial & military wear. In 1971 she was presented with a gold watch for 50yrs. service. She never married & was a wonderful aunt to all her nephews & nieces. Information courtesy of her niece Marjorie Cliffe.
