An express train on the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway at the turn of the century, reproduced from a painting by F. Moore executed for Sir John Aspinall, the General Manager. The locomotive is one of the 4-4-0s built at Horwich while he was Chief Mechanical Engineer.
