Although at Mytholm on the western edge of Hebden Bridge this is its Parish Church; built in 1833 on land given by the Rev. J.A.Rhodes and his wife of nearby Mytholm Hall.

Hebden Bridge's Parish Church situated out of the town to the west at Mytholm. One of the so called 'million pound' churches it was built on land donated by the Rev. John Armytage Rhodes of adjacent Mytholm Hall. it was consecrated in 1933.

The foundation stone for this church was laid on 26th June 1929. The church opened on 6th May 1931. Those who gave money for the building included Mary Sowden.

The church became redundant in 1984 and is now private dwellings.

In memory of his activities, a statue was originally erected by Todmorden Town Hall in 1875. It was then moved to Fielden Square in 1890. It was moved to its present location in Centre Vale Park in 1939.
