Hebden Bridge Local History Group members investigated the turnpike road at Mayroyd, Hebden Bridge. It was abandoned in 1825. It proved to be made entirely of apple sized sandstone.

HBLSS Jubilee Booklet 1905-1955. At the 42nd AGM held on the 4th Sept 1947 a lasting memorial to Mr Gibson was proposed, and it was suggested placing a bird bath in the gardens at New Road at an approximate cost of £60.
Taken about 1957/58. Pickles Band Knives (push cut). The cuttings were put down holes in the floor to be collected for sale after sorting. The mill closed in 1979 and was pulled down a few years later.
