Where did that name come from, can anyone help? St johns Church is at the bottom of the picture, with Church Bank Mill behind, beyond that Cragg School.

Sportsman Inn on the left and then Cragg School, but in between the little wood hut was a fish and chip shop. On the right the mill was known as Church Bank, Four Gates End or Pepper Mill.
