Pictured outside the Dusty Miller this is reputed to be the last working horse on the streets of Hebden Royd, although horses were worked on some farms in the area for several more years.

Above the houses the roof of St John's Church. The Church was consecrated in 1932 but became redundant and closed in1984. To the right of the church is Stubbings School.

There had been an inn on this site since 1851. The White Horse Hotel closed its doors 1960 and was demolished in 1962, the site is now a car park. There are two holly trees and these still remain.
